Lemon – is an excellent source of Vitamin C, also known as acid ascorbic. On his website, Dr. Andrew Saul explains that Vitamin C is an antipyretic and a natural antibiotic, which, if given frequently and in sufficient quantity, can lower the fever by eliminating what caused it in the first place.

Honey – has also been known for centuries for its incredible nutritional and medical value. It is rich in anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties, and several studies have proven its effectiveness in treating cough. Local natural honey is preferable to the ones we find in supermarkets, as it better preserves its properties.
