Baobab can be used in many ways.
One of which is in your breakfast!
By simply adding Baobab powder to your breakfast, your body will be ready to start the day.
In this baobab recipe, we have combined Baobab, chocolate, and coconut flakes.
The Baobab and coconut both promote the feeling of fullness for longer and are delicious when combined especially with the chocolate, making a delicious breakfast.

Chocolate, Coconut, and Baobab Baked Oats by Steph's Gluten Free Bakes
Ingredients
- 50g gluten-free oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp of chocolate sauce or melted chocolate
- 1 tsp SACO Baobab Powder
- 125ml of your favourite plant-based milk
- A few chocolate stars
- Coconut flakes
- 2-3 drops of red food colouring (optional)
- 1 brownie piece (optional)
How to make Chocolate, Coconut, and Baobab Baked Oats
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Grease a small ramekin.
Add coconut flakes into zip lock bag/container.
Add a few drops of food colouring.
Mix/rub together until the food colouring coats the coconut flakes.
Set aside to dry.
In a bowl, mix all the dry ingredients with milk.
Add melted chocolate to the mixture.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared ramekin.
Bake for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
Decorate with coconut flakes, chocolate, and broken-up brownie pieces.
Serve warm or cold.
